Kosta Krommyda has quickly become one of my favorite writers. It all began when I was gifted his book, “Cave of Silence”, and ever since I’ve been hooked. Once I heard that he was releasing yet another translation, I was sure to snag myself a copy. “Athora” is a must read!

Once again Kostas Krommydas has written a spellbinding book. I was hooked after reading Cave of Silence and have just downloaded Dominions of The Moon. I loved the twists and turns in this book as I tried to figure out who the villain was.
Mesmerizing. The way the story unravels even from the first chapter, encourages the reader to immerse into Athora's universe and builds up the anticipation of what is to follow. Mystery, professional success, personal struggles, a variety of delicately depicted emotions, a multitude of diverse characters, and nature's uncontrollable wrath, are a few of the elements characterizing this type of storytelling that can capture readers for different reasons.
It is evident that the author put a lot of effort into researching multiple subjects that comprise the spine of the narrative and complete the profile of the main character. A character whose course in life may not appear to be common, but nonetheless manages to become relatable to a great depth, as we get to know her.
Just like every successful recipe, "Athora" provides the reader with the right dosage of emotions, to escalate to a redemptive, unpredictable end. I would definitely recommend this book.
